Ferengi Preview

The Ferengi Alliance is the second in a series of player expansions for GF9’s Star Trek: Ascendancy. A player expansion contains everything you need to add a new civilization and another player to your games. Negotiate, exploit and profit from alien cultures to grow the fortunes of the Alliance. Enforce the Trade By-Laws and sound fiscal policies of the Ferengi with a flotilla of Marauders and Trading Vessels, overwhelming lesser civilizations with under-performing investment portfolios. Cardassian Union Exploration Cards

One of the most exciting things a Player Expansion adds to Star Trek: Ascendancy is a new sense of adventure and discovery in the form of new Exploration Cards. The Cardassian Union Player Expansion adds ten new cards to the deck, introducing new challenges for civilizations as they explore the Galaxy. The Cardassians are an aggressive people; their hunger for vital resources puts them in conflict with species across the quadrant. That aggressiveness theme carries through to the new Exploration Cards in the form of "Confrontations". A Confrontation is a Crisis Card that immediately puts rival players into conflict, forcing a choice between immediate hostilities, gunship diplomacy, or surprise annexation. Cardassian Union System Discs

A Player Expansion for Star Trek: Ascendancy not only adds a new civilization to the game it also adds new System Discs for players to discover. In addition to new civilization’s Home World there are nine other worlds and phenomena to explore. In addition, a Player Expansion also comes with new space lanes to connect these locations to your Galactic Map and Resource Nodes to harvest the mineral, scientific and cultural wealth of these new worlds. The Cardassian Union will always be linked to the planet Bajor after their decades-long occupation of that verdant world. Bajor is home to one of the oldest civilizations in the quadrant.
